Knowledge Discovery in Scientific Literature

This PhD program has been launched in April 2013 at the German Institute for Educational Research and Educational Information ( DIPF) in Frankfurt/Main and the Computer Science Department at  Technische Universität Darmstadt.

Our research focus lies on text mining, sematic analysis and personalized processing of scientific literature in the educational domain, research monitoring and foresight using methods from statistical semantics, information retrieval, and information extraction.

In close collaboration with DIPF, we conduct cutting-edge research in computer science and apply it to the domain of educational research. We are part of the   Research Initiative Knowledge Discovery in the Web at the Technische Universität Darmstadt.
